Some might want you to believe that the purpose of your vagina only to have babies or only to please your man. But this is not true.  Apart from fertility, it’s also critical in experiencing you own sexual pleasure and satisfaction. When it comes to this, one of the most common concerns women have is their vagina’s elasticity and tone.

You might start questioning how it feels down there to him because you are not satisfied. You are not able to feel penetration or  you are not having orgasms.  Sex does not feel as good anymore. Now you feel like you are only doing it to please him but not yourself.

If you have concerns about the elasticity of your vagina, there are a couple of things you can do to restore your vagina’s natural tone and plumpness. But before we get to the tips, let’s answer one important question first.

Is There Such A Thing As A Loose Vagina?

Most men will not tell their partners about their loose vagina. But if you do a google search you quickly see that men are asking google about why their partners vagina is loose. So can we honestly say it does not exist? Not really.

Technically, there’s no such thing as having a loose vagina. It is really the supporting structures surrounding the vagina that will make it feel loose. The integrity of  your pelvic floor muscles indirectly affects the way your vagina feels.

Although it’s true that the vagina undergoes changes throughout your life, it doesn’t stretch permanently.

In general, there are two things that can affect the elasticity of your vagina- your age and giving birth. Contrary to what most people think, having frequent sex won’t make your vagina lose its capability to stretch and get back its normal tone. In fact one of the solutions to having a tome vagina is to have more sex.

Let’s discuss:

Once you reach your 40’s, you’ll start to experience changes in your vagina. This happens as the level of estrogen in your body starts to drop, signaling the onset of the perimenopausal stage.

Menopause is inevitable and there is no way to avoid it. Estrogen is the key hormone that determines when menopause occurs. The lower levels of estrogen that occurs during menopause causes a decrease in blood flow to the vagina.

Estrogen plays a very critical role in the health of your vagina. It plumps up the labia, vulva and vaginal canal.  Most of the symptoms such as dryness, pain during sex and infection that occurs after menopause is due low levels of estrogen.

Having lower estrogen means that the tissues in your vaginal area will be less stretchy and acidic. The area will be generally drier and thinner, too.

Another way your vagina can change is with vaginal delivery.

Before a baby can pass through your birth canal, the vaginal entrance needs to stretch to allow the baby’s passage.

After the delivery of your baby, you may feel that your vagina feels a bit more loose than before giving birth. It’s normal and you shouldn’t worry about it.

After a few days, your vagina will start the process of getting back to its original shape. Take note, however, that the process may take as long as 6 months.

Now, let’s talk about sex.

Some women avoid sex due to pain and dryness. But that is a mistake.

When you are sexually aroused, your vaginal muscles relax, allowing penetrative sex to be possible. After sex, your vagina will return to its normal and usual shape and tone.

This idea makes foreplay important.

You see, when you’re not completely aroused, your body won’t be able to produce the natural lubricant that makes sex enjoyable. And without proper lubrication, penetrative sex can be quite painful.

Sexual arousal also involves the vagina’s capability to stretch to accommodate your partner’s sexual organ. If your vagina isn’t ready to receive your partner, you are likely to end up in pain.

So, how do you improve your vagina’s elasticity?

Kegel exercise is the most popular exercise for the region. It involves contracting and relaxing your pelvic floor muscles. Tighten them for around 8 to 10 counts, release, and repeat.

You can also do yoga or pilates. These exercises work really well in stretching the body and providing that elasticity.

For these exercises, there are certain poses you can do. For yoga, as an example, you can do the standing forward and mountain poses. For pilates, you can do the bridge while you’re doing the Kegels.

Another method is to use toning devices and there are a couple of choices for you. There’s the pelvic floor exerciser, pelvic floor stimulator, and the pelvic toner.

One good example is aloe vera. The gel you extract from it can be very helpful in enhancing vaginal elasticity.

For this, you’ll need to take a sheet of aloe. Gently remove the gel from the plant.

You’ll need about 2 tablespoons of the gel and apply it to the inner parts of your vagina daily. You can just simply run your fingers over the area or massage it.

Another great option is the Curcuma Comosa Roxb which comes from the ginger family. Its regular use can help reduce vaginal issues and prevent the prolapse of the walls of the vagina.

Considered as a medicinal plant, it’s also useful in treating inflamed uterus and uterine bleeding after giving birth.

In Thailand, this plant is known to be a remedy for other gynecological issues, including tightening vaginal muscles, relieving vaginal dryness, and even treating vaginal odor.

Now, to use this plant to improve the tone of your vagina, you’ll have to extract its juice from its root. Apply the extract to your vagina.

Now, although these natural remedies work, you can’t expect them to deliver results in just one use.

Just like the other remedies on this list, you’ll have to be consistent if you want to see changes. Use, do or take them every day until you see results.

Take note that even though they are natural remedies, it doesn’t mean that negative reactions aren’t possible. You can also experience
